HOW WE HELP

Ad Ad Astra Financial Planning we believe in the value of holistic
and comprehensive financial planning, especially compounded
over years and decades.

We are also sensitive to the fact that you may want help without
committing to an ongoing expense.

To this effect, we offer standalone one-time comprehensive
financial plans, and only allow for ongoing support after
an initial plan has been completed.

We also offer a “Strategy Session” engagement of 90 minutes
if you just want to ask a question or two.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Note that this is your journey, and we’ll flexibly address your concerns as they arise.

The process stated here serves as a potential blueprint, not a rigid prescription enshrined in stone.

  •

    1. Free Financial Triage

Get a “Free Financial Triage” which can help us answer any initial financial questions you may have. We will send you a personalized video of our initial observations from your scorecard.

  • 2. Compatibility Check

If you’re interested in exploring further, we’ll begin with a 30-minute “Compatibility Check” to assess whether each of us might be a good fit for the other.

  •

    3. Discovery Session

If it seems like we could be a good fit for each other, we can explore further in a 60-minute “Discovery Session” where we’ll explore your situation further and start to flesh out what our working together might look like.

  • 4. Client Agreement

If you decide you’d like to proceed, we’ll send you the client agreement and are available in the meantime if you have any further questions.

  •

    5. Get Organized

Once you sign the client agreement, we’ll typically meet for a 60-minute Get Organized session to get organized on the numbers side and begin your onboarding.

  • 6. Whiteboarding Session

When we’ve gathered the requisite data and done some initial analysis, we’ll typically meet for a 90-minute “Whiteboarding Session” where we can play around with different possibilities and get nerdy with Monte Carlo scenarios if you like.

  •

    7. Powerpoint Presentation

We typically conclude the formal onboarding process with a 90-minute Powerpoint Presentation because just like the Powerpoint Presentation at the office, circumstances will change as events unfold. Together we’ll review the plan we’ve prepared and see if there’s anything you’d like to change, and agree on the next steps to take as you proceed forward.

  • 8. Implementation

Depending on your situation and wishes, you may prefer to execute the action items from our discussions on your own, or you may wish to engage in ongoing planning.

If you sign up for ongoing planning, we may meet regularly or we may just check in on you from time to time depending on your needs. We are here to help guide you where you want to go, not dictate your path.
